Vicious cycles in bad relationships
When You meet a person with whom You have a bad feeling, You can be lucky or unlucky.
If You are lucky You won’t have to deal with a dominant person, otherwise You should carefully choose your strategy in order to manage this relationship.
The most probable thing is that being adverse to a dominant person, will bring to an empowerment of this person and reinforce his dominance.
That is because adversing a dominant person, starts an empowering circle with this person and legitimates (either in a clear or a masked way) this specific behavior.
This of course does not mean being prevaricated each time, but more addressing your efforts to neutralize the behavior.
IMHO there’s no rule of thumb for this, because each situation is different, but sometimes, when the situation is recognized in this pattern, You can try to avoid a direct adversing and try a longer path to obtain same result.
Live in the right way
You only live once but, if you live right, once is enough.
